Big Waves Bash Wollongong

Big Waves Bash Wollongong

HUGE WAVES COME JUST IN TIME...
For my sanity

Imagine there was no break wall here!
Hi All,

Well for the first time in a while, we're able to venture out with some common sense attached. So that's what I did. It was a nice little break from the busy life, but I needed some space to shoot again. I heard this low-pressure system was bringing some solid chunks of water onto the East coast. So I grabbed my camera and gave Wollongong a look.

It's been almost a year since I've seen the swell pick up like this. Last year I went to the Northern Beaches to catch that big swell, but this time I wanted to go south. I started at Sandon Point, Bulli, and made my way south into town where I finished off at the Lighthouse. I took a few snaps, but mostly I was just happy to be out and watching nature work her thing. Anyhoo, here's a few of those shots I managed to grab.
I hope you're well. Stay safe, keep ya head up.
Cheers
Ben
